Josh Kwan, CEO of The Gathering and co-founder of Praxis, has spent nearly two decades learning alongside Christian philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and families stewarding significant wealth. After a career in journalism, he joined the David Weekley Family Foundation, where he learned to evaluate ministries with rigor while paying close attention to the character of leaders and the leading of God. He later helped build Praxis around the conviction that founders need spiritual formation, trusted relationships, and a rule of life as much as they need capital and expertise.

In this conversation, Josh explores the tension between thoughtful strategy and surrendered stewardship. He explains why effectiveness can become an idol, how money can amplify identity and relational dysfunction, and why generosity is meant to be practiced with transparency, humility, and accountability.
