April Chapman, CEO of Generous Giving, shares how she and her husband Craig moved from traditional tithing toward a much broader understanding of stewardship. Their journey included careers at Microsoft, a technology startup, major financial windfalls, donor-advised funds, impact investing, ministry leadership, and a commitment to give away half of Craig’s eventual equity proceeds from his startup.

Along the way, April discovered that generosity was not simply about money. A framework of labor, influence, finances, and expertise helped them recognize that their technology skills, relationships, business experience, and investments could all serve Kingdom purposes.
